Basotect W a flexible, open-cell foam made from melamine resin, a thermoset polymer. Its characteristic feature is
its three-dimensional network structure consisting of slender and thus easily flexed filaments. Basotect W is used,
for example, as cleaner in consumer applications and sound absorber or thermal insulation in buildings, cars and trains.
